This is the last part of the commissioned illustration series, and I'm happy to say that this was an amazing experience for me. I feel I pushed my art into a new realm, and I've learned so much from it.

Noticed this billboard ad at the bus stop posting of the illustration above advertising for the Black Comix Arts Festival 2017. Frankly, I didn't care for the illustration simply because you are advertising for "Black" Comics, and at the base of the illustration you have a white girl...not a black one. Let me put it to you this way: the woman in the illustration is too "white" in appearance to represent a black person, although you may have wanted to illustrate a black/white mix or whatever; she looks too white under the illustration of some kind of black "robot". This ad illustration is probably on numerous public transit billboards (and maybe other billboards), and is confusing if you are trying to portray "black".
